Princess Tutu and Princess Kraehe. A magical dancing guidance counsellor and a skanktastic ballet ninja. How can you not love this series? It's like what you'd get if Hans Christian Andersen collaborated with Kunihiko Ikuhara to make an anime. With BALLET!
Admittedly, the series is probably not for everyone. Here are some possible reasons for you to NOT enjoy Princess Tutu: - You suffer from a dangerously low amount of pants in your life. - You hate Love, Happiness, and little yellow duckies. - Your family was killed by a ballerina. If none of these applies to you, then I would suggest checking the series out right away. Here's a pretty good Princess Tutu info page: [link] Note: Everything I know about ballet, I learned from this anime and from the movie Billy Eliot. So I hope those who know better don't find it too annoying if I made some gross error in their posture (over and above my usual anatomy screw-ups; in hindsight, Tutu really looks like she has a few dislocated joints).  ;Princess Tutu and related characters (c) HAL Film Maker |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 22h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. I especially like your rendering of the ballerina costume details, like the extra floof in the skirt and the feathers in their hair. I'd also have to say, the simplicity of the background works nicely in your favor here
