Two of my favorite anime series revolve around archetypal fairy tale prince characters, distinguished by their grace, nobility, and heroism. So naturally, what thought comes to my mind? "They should totally fight each other."
And so, HEEEERE WE AAAAARE, BORN TO BE KINGS, WE'RE THE PRINCES OF THE UNIVERRRRRRSE...
I don't know why they're fighting, exactly. Maybe Dios tried to "rescue" Mytho's princess; or maybe they just want to settle who has the whitest cape or the biggest messiah complex. Either way, I predict Mytho would trounce Dios' pansy ass, but would then get stabbed in the back by Anthy and need his own pansy ass saved by Princess Tutu. Isn't that always the way?
Dios from Revolutionary Girl Utena is (c) B-Papas et. al.
Mytho from Princess Tutu is (c) Hal Film Maker et. al.
WHOA!!! I LOVE DIOS!!! And Mytho looks like my favorite type of bishie--silverblond--even though I haven't seen Princess Tutu yet.
This is a kind of weird compliment, but I really like the way you matched up the cut of their jackets with the line of their...er...joinings? Inseams? What's a polite word for cr*tch? Plus the sheer movement in the shot is great. It looks wonderfully animated. Well done you!
Heh, thanks. ^^ Drawing of crotch-al areas is rather tricky... And you should definitely check out Princess Tutu, if you ever get the opportunity.

This is seriously cool for real! I love the parallells between Utena and Tutu (and, actually, Roseof Versailles, give it a try if you haven't already). The idea is great and it's really dynamic! I wish I could draw poses like that! ^_^

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.

Great oekaki, it's really dynamic.
What a lovely lovely image. I enjoy that Dios' posture makes it look like he's about to cheat and kick the other guy over.
