Looks like there's nothing good on TV. You'd think being both super-intelligent and super-rich, Veidt would remember to pay his cable bill...
Veidt: "I paid it thirty-five minutes ago." Oh, okay then!
This sketch is pretty dull. But I thought his expression turned out very Veidt-ish (sad+condescending), and the coloring and backdrop made it more interesting.
It's Ozymandias from Watchmen, a graphic novel and soon-to-be movie.

For a sketch, the lighting is inspired and dramatic. It came out great.
I don't like how evil he looks in the movie. I think he shouldn't have such a dark, brooding costume. But, I have hopes that the movie turns out great.

I agree with you, the expression is very Veidt-esque. Good job.

"I am Ozymandias, king of kings. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair."
You've seen the previews for the film right? Ozy looks like a wimp. He's supposed to be a super gymnast!
I know you think it's dull, but I think it covers his character pretty well. Isolated physically and mentally. The tv glare behind him, the shadows on him, it looks good.

NOOOO anything but that! But I have to admit it would kind of work...

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.

It would have been Tom Cruise as... HIMSELF!
I don't like how evil he looks in the movie. I think he shouldn't have such a dark, brooding costume.
But, I have hopes that the movie turns out great.
