pirate girls do it for booty

Drawn in honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day 2006. Red and Clare (the girl without hands) from my comic [link] For last year's Talk Like a Pirate Day, I had this idea to draw Clare as a pirate with two hook hands instead of one (for twice the pirating power, ARRRR); but I never got around to actually drawing it. Then this year for some reason was very enthusiastic about the idea of seeing Red with an eyepatch, and I figured that would go well with my old idea. This was just going to be a dorky little sketch, but grew more and more elaborate. I kind of like the end result; though Red's coat looks more and more like a bellhop uniform the more I look at it.
